Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

We collect only what you voluntarily give us:

• Email address, when you subscribe to The Sunday Money Memo, along with the date you subscribed.

We do not create user accounts, run analytics trackers, or collect names, addresses, or payment details. The calculators on this site run entirely in your browser; nothing you type into them is sent to us.

2. Why we collect it

Your email address is used for one purpose: sending you The Sunday Money Memo, the weekly email you signed up for. We do not use it for any other purpose.

3. Consent

By entering your email address and submitting the signup form, you consent to receiving the weekly email. You may withdraw that consent at any time by unsubscribing (see section 6).

4. How your data is stored and protected

• Email addresses are stored in Cloudflare KV, a managed key-value store, hosted in the United States.
• Data is encrypted at rest and in transit using Cloudflare's default platform encryption.
• Access is restricted to the site operator's Cloudflare account. There is no public or shared access.
• We follow data minimization: we store only your address and signup date, nothing more.
• Email addresses are never written to application logs.

5. Sharing

We never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing. It will only be disclosed if required by law (for example, a valid court order).

If the email list is later moved to a dedicated email service provider (such as Buttondown or ConvertKit), this policy will be updated to name that provider before any transfer happens.

6. Unsubscribe and deletion

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribe requests are honored promptly, and in no case later than 10 business days, consistent with the CAN-SPAM Act.

You may also request a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it entirely, at any time by messaging @centsationaladvice on Instagram. Deletion requests are completed within 30 days.

7. Retention

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or request deletion, whichever comes first. Unsubscribed addresses are removed, not retained for marketing.

8. Cookies

This site does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect against abuse. No cookie data is used for profiling.

9. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If we learn such data was provided, it will be deleted promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above, and subscribers will be notified by email of significant changes.
